What we collect

Nothing. Cachera does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on any server. The app contains no networking code and requests no network access. There is no account, no login, and no analytics or tracking SDKs.

Your photos

• Photos are selected through Apple's system photo picker, which gives the app access only to the specific photos you choose — never your whole library.
• All processing (crop, rotate, flip, redaction, watermarking, PDF generation) happens entirely on your device.
• Photos are never uploaded.

Redaction

When you export, the areas you black out are flattened into the page as pixels. There is no hidden layer beneath them in the exported PDF, so redacted content cannot be recovered from the file Cachera produces.

On-device data

• Exported PDFs are written to a temporary location and shared only when you choose to.
• Export history is off by default. If you turn it on (Settings → On-device data), recent exports and small thumbnails are stored only on your device and can be cleared at any time.
• App preferences (language, appearance, default watermark/layout, purchase state) are stored locally with the system's standard preferences.

Purchases

The one-time PRO unlock is processed by Apple via the App Store / StoreKit. Cachera never sees your payment information.
